2.      Sony Bravia KDL46X300

This Sony Bravia features several imaging enhancement techniques. For movie fanatics, the 24p True Cinema mode allows you to enjoy Blu-Ray disks at the correct frame rate, meaning no image-degrading conversion is required. Combined with a pretty high score on design, this television should appeal to many people, although the price probably prevented it from getting to first place.

3.      LG 42PT85

The only plasma model in this flat screen television roundup is a special one, as it comes with a built-in hard-disk recorder. Since it can’t handle full-HD, this LG is probably not suitable for real movie fanatics. However, if you are searching for a fancy looking flat screen while at the same time wanting to switch to digital recording (for instance since your good old VHS-recorder went bust), then this LG plasma might just be the thing for you.
