Lite-On IT releases several new firmware versions

Lite-On IT has today
released several new firmware
versions. For most new releases the changelog is the familiar "match more media"
but for some firmwares, like firmware US0J for the SOHW-812S(X) drives, we
can read that bitsetting support has been added. Below you can find an
overview of the firmwares that have been released today. If you're looking for

Lite-On SOHW-812S(X) DR8US0J:
Most DVD players that can't read
DVD+RW or DVD+R discs are the older models. This version firmware allows
users to modify the BookType setting of a DVD recordable media, thus
enhancing the media read compatibility in older DVD playback devices. (For

Lite-On website.)
