Old lady sues Sony, Samsung and others

You know those people? Those that fill their pockets with one little thing they did in the past? Retired Columbia University Professor, Gertrude Neumark Rothschild, found out that she could make some cash quick. Her plan is to take money from almost every electronics giant, otherwise they don't have to import their goods into the United States, she says.

Rothschild's complaint filed with the US International Trade Commission (ITC) claims that thirty companies are violating a patent she owns for light-emitting and laser diodes. A few hours ago the ITC agreed to investigate the matter... This lady already tested the legal matters with lawsuits against Philips, which was settled earlier this month.

The former professor's dead list can be found here. I must say that I hope that she wins, how about you?
