On Wednesday, March 28, 8:34 pm Eastern Time was released the last press release from 3dfx Interactive, Inc. The results are frightening. On the other hand, the last two years were not good for 3dfx at all, so such results were expectable. Nevetheless, 3dfx was the first company, who has presented the hardware acceleration of 3D Graphics. They were just the gods of graphics cards in 1997 and 1998. Now, 3dfx has become a Legend of hardware world.

Well this doesn't sound that good for 3DFX... I know we already knew that (about every gamer has got an Nvidia based card, just a little few an Ati or an 3DFX). I hope 3DFX will have a comeback since some competition on the 3D cards world wouldn't be that bad........ (and it would certainly lower the prices.... like Geforce 3 )
