The Project Spartan browser will likely replace Internet Explorer as the default browser in Windows 10, while the latter remains to be part of Microsoft's upcoming operating system for "legacy reasons". Spartan will also have Cortana integration and the ability to annotate web pages, among other features.

The screenshots were leaked by a Microsoft partner which has access to build 10009 of Windows 10 Technical Preview. The same partner also leaked images showing new icons of the Windows 10 Control Panel and Recycle Bin.
