Exclusive: Android 4.3 gets native app and widget sorting by usage amount

Android 4.3 will allow sorting of apps alphabetically and by the amount of times you've used them. Currently apps in Android are sorted by alphabet automatically. The code appeared in the Google Launcher  code. The developers have added a special dialog where you can select to either sort by alphabet or by favorite. myce_android_app_sorting

Numerous code snippets indicate that the mobile operating system will count the amount of times an application is started.  Due to that it will allow sorting applications by the number of times they are used currently called sort by favorite by the developers.

It appears that it will also be possible to sort widgets this way.The code appeared in a project on the Linux Foundation Labs website where developers of several companies actively contribute to the Android code.

Currently users are eagerly awaiting for the release of Android JellyBean 4.3. Recently we reported that new versions are being tested. Recently we also found new builds, Android 4.3 JWR66P  and JWR66N.
