Not that long ago I took a close look at
the Crucial BallistiX Sport DDR4 RAM and now Crucial has released a new kit.
The biggest change with this RAM is the appearance, which should give you the
option to choose the RAM kit that is most pleasing to you and at the same time closest
the rest of your setup. The other small change is that Crucial has added 'LT' at
the end of the name so that we can differentiate between the two RAM kits.  The
rest of the specifications are pretty much the same as we would expect.

By now I am sure that everyone knows the
Crucial name, however if you need to you can always visit their website to find
out more about their history and also their latest products, simply by clicking
the link here.

Let’s start by taking a closer look at the
package and its contents.

Packaging

When it comes to the packaging there isn't
anything new report, and the picture below verifies this.

Open the box, and inside you will find four
DIMMs of RAM with the new design of heat sink. So let's move on and take a
closer look at the HyperX Fury 2666MHz DDR4 RAM.

The front side of the Crucial Sport
BallistinX LT DDR4 has an updated design and this memory still has a low
profile so you won't have any issues with any CPU coolers.

On the back of the Sport BallistiX LT there
are two stickers, on the first one we find that this is a US product and on the
other there's some information about the timings.

Finally a quick screen shot from CPU-Z and
all the information about the memory that this program can display. As we can
see there is also an XMP profile but in my case everything was detected
correctly by the motherboard.

Let’s head to the next page where we
take a look at our testing methods and the review PC.
