The Intel DC P3700 is a fabulous drive, which defines a new
level of high performance for solid state storage solutions. Currently, from
amongst the drives we have reviewed to date, it is in a league of its own.
It also has excellent endurance and is a fully featured enterprise
solution.
I understand that the P3700 is to be priced aggressively,
which may bring the 800GB version into the range of enthusiasts. I want one –
no I need one!
It is very easy for me to award the Intel DC P3700 Myce’s
top rating of ‘Outstanding’ and name it as the current "Editor’s Choice"
amongst NVMe/PCIe based Enterprise solutions.
I have lost count of the number of times I have used the
word awesome in this review – but I can’t think of a better closing line – the
Intel DC P3700 is ‘Truly Awesome’.
