Aspect ratio (Digital camera)

Many digital cameras have a different aspect ratio than analog cameras. Most digital cameras have an aspect ratio of 3:4 (11,4 x 15 cm), while analog cameras are equipped with a 2:3 aspect ratio (10 x 15 cm). This means that if you get your photos printed in a traditional shop that you have a chance of losing some parts of the photo. Some digital cameras do have a 2:3 aspect ratio. This might be an important consideration before buying a new camera.
