Microsoft released a new update for Outlook 2007 today that fixes a bug introduced in another update, that switched the language of the Office software to Swedish in several countries. On the 12th of September Microsoft released the affected update that caused Dutch, Arabic, Italian, Korean, Norwegian and Portuguese users to have their Outlook in Swedish.
The update was KB4011086 that added additional security measures to the Office software. The update didn't fix any known vulnerabilities. A mistake in the update caused the language settings to be changed erroneously.
Sixteen localized versions of Outlook 2007 were affected by the update. Microsoft has now removed the update and replaced it with a new one. Affected users are advised to delete KB4011086 and to install the new date KB4011110.
