Pirates leak Windows 8.1 Spring update ISO

An ISO file containing a working copy of the upcoming Windows 8.1 Spring update has been leaked on the internet. The Polish website Winclub.pl has made it available on several filesharing websites. The file appears to be compiled on the 14th of January 2014.

While this is the first time the Windows 8.1 Spring update  becomes publicly available, all changes are already known. Earlier this year, the Russian hackgroup WZOR leaked many screenshots of the upcoming Windows 8.1 update.

The leak confirms that after the update Windows 8.1. boots directly to the desktop if no touchscreen is installed. Also, Metro apps can be pinned and from the Metro start screen you can now directly search and shutdown the computer.

The Windows 8.1 Spring update should become officially available on the 11th of March.
