The VOIP call feature of WhatsApp, that is available for sometime already on Android and iOS, has made its first appearance in beta of the app for Windows Phone. It's expected the feature will soon be enrolled to all Windows Phone users.
The WhatsApp build that includes the call feature is 2.12.38, according to WPXbox. Just like on Android and iOS the functionality appears in a new tab after an update with a list of recent phone calls. The feature is currently only available to beta testers of the app, but an update for all users on Windows Phone should become available soon.
Earlier this year WhatsApp released the call feature to Android and later it also brought it to the iOS version. The feature was expected for some time, WhatsApp CEO already announced it in March last year.
