The iPhone X, which costs, depending on the exact model around $1,000, appears to have issues when it’s taken outside in cold weather. A sudden drop in temperature makes the touchscreen to become unresponsive for several seconds. A statement from Apple posted by the website Loop Insight confirms the issue. The website received a response from Apple stating, “we are aware of instances where the iPhone X screen will become temporarily unresponsive to touch after a rapid change to a cold environment. After several seconds the screen will become fully responsive again.”

The Cupertino technology giant promises that an upcoming software update will fix the problem.

Another issue that is making the rounds on Apple’s Support Forum and Twitter is an issue with the iPhone X’s display. The OLED display shows a green vertical line for some users. The Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge suffered from a similar issue, there were many complaints from Edge 7 owners that a vertical pink line appeared on their OLED display. Samsung fixed the issue under warranty.

It’s unclear whether Apple is also able to fix the iPhone Xs green line issue with a software fix, or that the units have to sent in for warranty as well.
