We at CDFreaks would like to present an article over the 'new" LightScribe Color Media. In this article we will take a look at the 5 different available colours (Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red), and of course show you the results we got on them.

Our Philips LightScribe Color media was obtained as a 10 pcs pack, and contains:
- 2 x LightScribe media with Blue surface
- 2 x LightScribe media with Green surface
- 2 x LightScribe media with Yellow surface
- 2 x LightScribe media with Orange surface
- 2 x LightScribe media with Red surface
A closer look at the Light Scribe media with Blue surface
If we take a closer look at the inner ring of the LightScribe media we can see a bar code indexing system, which the drive use to recognize the LightScribe surface and to read the manufacturer but also for the indexing (for later re-burns).
Let us also take a look at the manufacturer of the Data-Side of the CD-R media:
As we can see the CD-R media is made by Moser Baer.
