Accoustica Inc. has released Version 3.x of its CD/DVD Label Maker software with LightScribe Direct Disc Technology support. When used with a LightScribe drive and compatible media, software can be used to produce silk screen-quality labels and write them using the drive with the media flipped over.
For those who prefer to use an inkjet printer with either labels or direct-to-CD printing support, the software supports over 70 printers and over 500 stock sticker labels and CD jewel case templates. To cut time producing labels, it can also import track information from CD-Text, the online FreeDB, MusicBrainz, MP3 tracks and data CDs and DVDs. Text can be formatted in a variety of styles, including text spiralled / circled around the disc.
The Accoustica CD/DVD Label Maker software is available as a 7-day trial and is retailed at US$31.95, which includes lifetime support.
