Over thousand
people voted in our
poll in which we asked you the question: Who will win the next generation
format war. Nearly 63% of you voted for the Blu-ray Disc format, while 37% voted
HD-DVD. The most heard reasons to vote for Blu-ray are the capacity, on
a Blu-ray Disc one is able to store more Gigabytes. However this format
also has the image of being more expensive.
HD-DVD on the other hand, sounds familiar and has
the image of having more support of the movie studios and to be much
cheaper. Wether or not these are facts, this is how people currently see both
formats, it's up to their promotors to change these views.
