NeoTheHacker, SkullCoder, DDay , swede_242 and Ljugtomten used our newssubmit to tell us that CloneCD 4.0.0.1 has arrived and it seems to be the final Clone CD 4 version. Besides that the Elaborate Bytes homepage has been redesigned.
Setup Version 4.0.0.1 (about 2251 KB) Last updated: May 3, 2002 |
This is the full version, including the Setup program. You can use it to update your current CloneCD version, too.
Caution: If you own the Box Version of CloneCD, it must have been installed before the Update. CloneCD will automatically recognize the Registration Key of the already installed Box Version. The Registration Key that came with the Box Version cannot be used for the Installation of the Online Version
Also note that Elaborate Bytes has moved to Switzerland (© Elaborate Bytes AG, Cham, Switzerland), this country is no part of the European Union and has less strickt laws when it comes to digital media. If you want to learn more about the new featues, check out our review.
Also note the Links section where our CloneCD Forums are officially linked, and we are also proud to have two of our moderators in the credits section.
Then the website has a page ready for Elaborate Bytes upcoming software, MakeDisc, which should be a simple, stable and easy to use mastering software package. And there is a new version of DVD region killer:
Setup Version 2.5.0.1 (about 139 KB)
Last updated: May 3, 2002
RegionKiller 2 takes care of the proper functioning of your (Region Code free) DVD Drive - from now on you'll be able to watch foreign DVDs on your home theater PC without being hassled by possibly non-working DVDs.
And there is even more from Elaborate Bytes. CloseTray Setup is a tool to remotely open and close drive trays. (I think a lazy German is behind this )
Setup Version 1.0.0.2 (about 118 KB) Last updated: May 3, 2002 CloseTray allows you to remotely open and close drive trays - it is usually being used in home theater setups (remember the last time you put a DVD in your home theater PC and did not notice that you forgot to close the tray until you had already kicked back in your comfort chair to start the movie?) |
Also check this promotional shockwave movie, made for a large german retail shop. The first time we hear the new sheep !
Well that's all the changes I could find, do you like the restyle and the new tools ? React below, someone from Elaborate Bytes should be reading this...
