Clover Systems unveils high speed DVD analyzer

New High-Speed DVD Analyzer from Clover Systems

Lake Forest, CA April 6, 2005 - Clover Systems has announced the release of the new DVX DVD Analyzer. This new version of Clover's popular low-cost quality control tool can measure DVD error rates at up to 16X on DVD-ROM and DVD±R, including dual layer discs, and CDs at up to 40X. It can also measure Beta and Jitter, and check the quality of blank media. DVX can perform bit-for-bit comparison of two discs of any type, including video, audio, or data. DVX can also do bit-for-bit comparison of two discs without access to the original using a new exclusive feature called the 'Clover Signature". With an optional Analog Board, it can also make analog (pit geometry) measurements.

DVX is especially useful for DVD±R duplicators, as it provides an affordable way to measure disc quality. More and more disc duplicators and IT departments are finding they can avoid problems and save money by being able to evaluate media quality and discover failing burners.

Clover Systems will be demonstrating their new 16X DVD tester in booth 31.033 at the MediaTech International tradeshow May 10-12 in Las Vegas. The combination of high throughput and low cost make DVX the new price / performance leader in DVD testing. It is also available with a robot auto-loader for unattended operation.

About Clover Systems: Clover Systems has been making CD test equipment since 1986. They were the originators of affordable Desktop CD Analyzers, which allowed CD-R duplicators, software publishers, archivists, and recording studios to measure disc quality without spending tens of thousands of dollars.
