I've created a simple data-disc with only 1 data track of 81Mb. and then i've used CDProtector to copy-protect my CD. After this, i've tried to copy it with some CD burning/imaging program and the results are below: |
- Adaptec CD Copier v4.01 (202):
It start and then scan the track, but it is not able to create a valid image file for the CD.
- CDRWin v3.8b:
It is able to create an image file with a valid cue sheet, but it don't read all the CD and therefore, the resulting copied-cd is an invalid copy because is truncated.
- Nero Burning Rom v5.0.0.3: create a truncated/invalid image file.
- BlindRead v3.0.22:
It can read the disk in every sector, but it can only write an invalid image file. The resulting image-file is truncated in about 5 parts.
- CloneCD v2.7.2.4:
It read the entire disc, but the image file is truncated and this resulting image-file can't be used to make a valid copy.
I've tried these program with my Plextor PX32TS and with my Plextor PXR412Ci. CloneCD can use these units to perform a raw reading on the disc-surface, but no program, for now, is able to create a perfect copy of a CD protected by CDProtector 4 beta 1 build 3048. I can't upload this beta-version for now, i must test it in several ways, but all this is a very promising thing...
