DRAM prices extremely low... let's buy some...

Maybe it's a little off topic but still very interesting and nice. At the moment, DRAM prices are extremely low. I read before about this on the net and I just keep reading it everywhere (that's why I decided to post it here also). It seems that DRAM is getting really really old and companies want to get rid of it or that there are so many DRAM modules available that they just have to make'm cheap to get rid of them.

Well anyway, for the most of us it may be a very good time to buy some more memory.

So did I and it's really a big performance boost for a small price As lots of people visiting this site are burning freaks (who really like to burn on the fly) they'd benefit a lot from some more ram.

Well here's something from the article I read at The register:

Today memory reseller Insight was offering 128Mb PC 100 DIMMs for £33.99. An Insight salesperson said prices were "at rock bottom" at the moment, but were about "to rocket".

In the UK, for the price of a 64Mb DRAM chip you can also buy:

-Six cigarettes

-Half a pint of beer

-Four Mars Bars

-Or three pints of milk

Well I guess it's really a good time to buy because prices are expected to rise again!

Maybe I gonna get me some more 2… I dunno yet
