DVDShrink and DVD Backup Studio author gives more info on the future

Our moderator Peter McCall has posted a story on what is going to change in the next version of the freeware transcoding tool DVDShrink. DVDShrink is currently on top of our most popular software and can be used to backup DVD discs. The software is easy to use, has a good looking Graphical Userinterface and has good performance, no suprise a lot of people are waiting for an update. Here is what you could possibly expect:

DVD Backup Studio is scheduled for release in the beginning of June...Building a complete new UI...away from the wizard interface. Apart from that no major internal changes except for most of the 1.03 bugs being fixed, and macrovision etc...possibly fixed the jerky playback problem on some standalones and in the process I found a rather nasty bug which caused 10-20% loss of compression for no gain in quality in all previous versions...So now...where level 3 was required...level 2 will be sufficient..."

Discuss this in our Transcoding Software Forum and for more information and downloads visit the DVD Shrink Software page.
