On 17 August of 2005, the DVD Shrink website was taken down with a
message "DVD Shrink is NO more". Similar to the DVD Decrypter
process, the end of DVD Shrink was almost sure. It hadn't been updated for
a while but still, it was freeware and working. Today, Areku, the webmaster and hoster
of dvdshrink.org, used our news
submit to tell us that the
official DVDShrink website is back. However, due to the legal actions,
he was forced to remove all links and software from the
server.
News from hell....For the moment i"ve reuploaded the site removing both the links and the software from the server so my guess is they can"t complain right now... Anyone has knowledge on using Google and I"m sure 99% of ppl will find his copy of DVDShrink by his own means... |
It's a shame that software
like this, which are supposed to give consumers their fair rights on the
products they buy, are taken down because of some greedy corporations. Right
now, either you get your DVD Shrink by other means or you'll have to make the
switch to paid software. CD Freaks currently provides a mirror for DVD Shrink
