FireBurner 2.0 Beta 6 Released

SpecTrax and Spinne used our newssubmit to tell us:

There's a new FireBurner version 2.0.6 out now. Changes apply to both Linux and Windows editons:

  • UPDATED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR LINUX EDITION! Now you must run FireBurner via startfb script. This should solve a lot of problems specifically Qt library version conflict issues.
  • There are now 2 distribution archives. FireBurner executable separated from support files. You need only download support files once. To update you version of FireBurner, simply download the new executable and replace.
  • Small bug regarding power calibration fixed.
  • Insignificant memory leak fixed.
  • Bug fixed regarding registration code entry.
  • Minor cosmetic changes.

I'm focusing more time on restoring the ripping and file burning capabilities of FireBurner. I'm hoping to have these back relatively soon for both Linux and Windows!

Grab these new FireBurner versions here. Please note the second news remark: For Windows install, you need the support files if this is your first installation! If you have installed FireBurner before you only need to replace the executable...
