Game Jackal V2.5 allows game profile creation from desktop

Ockingshay used our news submit to tell us that this software has been updated today, Game Jackal is getting pretty popular around here to say the least. It's a program that allows for CD free gaming by compiling a small profile for the user. A profile is not an image of the game's CD, but a small collection of files (on average a game's profile is only 9MB in size, but some factors can cause this to vary). The profile creation process is straightforward and is performed while you're playing your favorite games.

What's new in version 2.5:

Create profiles right from the desktop with the new "One-click" profile creation option. Simply right-click any game icon on you desktop (or anywhere else for that matter) and select "Convert to Game Jackal profile", a much simplified creation wizard guides you through a 2 step process.
Unused profiles can now be moved to an archive section allowing you to keep only your current favorites in the "My Game Profile" section.
A new "plug-in" interface is now available, this allows third-party developers to create plug-ins for Game Jackal.
Right-click popup menu for profiles, this provides a faster and easier way to manage profiles. Click here to see this in action.
