HBO introduces a new service called 'HBO on broadband'. The service offers downloadable content and live feeds on your PC. The Time Warner-owned giant will give HBO On Demand customers access to several TV episodes and Hollywood movies.
Downloads expire after twelve weeks and content is not transferable to mobile devices. This said, we can say that it's definitely not 'there' yet. For now the service is only available for Time Warner cable and broadband subscribers in Wisconsin.
Int he future we can expect the service running on Macs and in several states.
