HD DVD sales show small recovery...

After Warner's decision to go 'Blu', HD DVD sales were sinking. Latest intell shows a comeback of Toshiba's format. This recovery can mainly be found on the hardware level.

At the beginning of 2008 Blu-ray enjoyed a 90% market share, but current research by NDP show a decrease. HD DVD player sales totaled 33% of all high-definition hardware sales... NDP's research shows the first step forward by HD DVD since Warner decided to ditch Toshiba's format.

Low pricing is given as the main reason for HD DVD's 'comeback'. Players costing only a few bucks must be popular, but as we know HD DVD is known as a good product by the people. It would be nice if we see this trend continue and see HD DVD fight itself back...

Will this be a possibility?
