Hitachi widescreen camcorder uses mini DVD-R and RAM discs

This 5th generation hardware from Hitachi is 15% smaller
and with a claimed battery life extension of about 20% over previous models. We can read at their website, that Hitachi has released this new little camcoder that not only sports a widescreen viewer, but it can record in widescreen mode as well on 8cm mini-discs. The DZMV730A DVD camcorder is going to retail for around 500 dollars US, so this might be of interest to many out there.
