Maybe you never thought about it when you press
the eject button of your disc drive. But for some people it's not simply
pressing a button. An interesting thread arose on our forums yesterday. A member was asking how
easy it is to push the eject button of the NEC-3500. Some members thought it was
a joke and made funny remarks about the questions but for some this is a serious
problem. Fortunately the original poster explained that he has a hand
condition and not much strength in his hand. Our members switched
from making fun of it to helpfull and the
real discussion started.
Interesting is as well that on some drives you'll need to push the button harder then on other drives. We would be intrested to hear how easy your drive opens and if there are more people with similair problems. It's not something you daily consider and probably not many companies have thought about it as well, so we thought it would be nice to bring something unusual as this under your attention.
