Napster sueing NapCameBack?

Napster wants NapCameBack to go back where it came from. The makers ot the NapCameBack which we reported about on 13 March said Napster threatened legal action unless the program is pulled offline by Friday.

The software encrypts MP3 files, giving users a way around Napster's filtering system that is supposed to block downloads of copyright-protected songs.

"After Napster's claims of oppression by the music industry, I'm sure the irony of this move will not be lost on their users," said Pulse New Media CEO James Chillcott. The software will not be removed, he said, adding that a new version will be released on Friday.

NapCameBack has been downloaded 500,000 times since it was introduced, but in fact you don't really need it. So napster is sueing now instead of being sued... Anyway new version is coming. Although you really don't need such a scrambler, you can better use other things like Napigator.
