Nero CD-DVD Speed V3.80 and Nero InfoTool V3.01 released

ItalianJob used our news submit to tell us about a new release of
the popular optical drive benchmarking tool, Nero CD-DVD
Speed. This tool can be used to test the
capabilities of your CD or DVD drive and we use this software in our
reviews to test the performance and make comparisons. Some of the tests include: Transfer rate, Seek times,
CPU usage, Burst rate, DAE quality, Spinup/spindown
time.

    files

  • Bitsetting: added support for certain
    AccessTek drives

  • Added MID/ATIP code to saved HTML file

  • Added option to include MID/ATIP code
    with filename

Disc Quality test :



  • Added recorder information for
    DVD-R/DVD-RW discs which have not been burned with the Create Data Disc
    function

  • Added quality score algorithm for
    certain drives
