There is a new firmware available for the Plextor PX-W1210A. On the Plextor site you can download the latest Firmware Binary File v1.08 for the PX-W1210A.
Changes:
- Added: Playing of AudioCD is done through buffering (this will improve the playback of scratched discs)
- Fixed Bug: CD-Extra (8cm) was recognised as AudioCD
- Improved: Write performance for various discs, types and speeds
- Improved: Reading of UPS/ISRC information is done at higher speed
- Improved: General read performance
