Plextor stops production of SCSI CDRoms

CDRInfo.com reports that Plextor Europe will stop selling SCSI CD-Rom's in Europe

The Plextor Europe has confirmed that they plan to stop selling SCSI-CDRoms in Europe (and in Middle-East, Africa) ,after the summer period, but.. Maybe something new is coming out? Yes it is! What that could be? Probably a new drive which will enter the SCSI DVD-Rom area

Update:
Plextor will only stop producing the Ultraplex 40x cdrom for several months because their supplier of the most important Ultraplex' parts
stopped producing them. Plextor is negotiating right now with other manufacturers.... they still want to continue their best drive when it comes to reading
This made me feel happy ofcourse..... Plextor all the way 🙂

Another update: after replying Plextor's email i received another one concerning this case. They tell me right now that nothing is for sure anymore about the production of the Ultraplex 40x. It may continue, it may not......
We'll see.....
