Prices too high: judge understands piracy...

So they finally understand: prices are to high. In the sentence from Judge Bray he said: "I have not closed my eyes to the fact that the retailers and publishers are grossly overcharging the general public."

The computer games industry has slammed a judge who presided over the case of gaming and mobile phone pirates after he suggested their crimes were an understandable reaction to the public being "grossly overcharged". In sentencing Radomir Lukic to two and a half years in prison and Kevin Bailey to 150 hours community service.

ELSPA, the European Leisure Software Publishers Association, branded the judge "uninformed" and "completely incorrect".

Lukic and Bailey were convicted of piracy and fraud offences. They admitted having sold 'several thousand' copied PlayStation games for £5 a go and was arrested with 200 pre-pay mobile phones in his possession. Ah well ofcourse that's not a good thing, but the judge did care about the high software prices
