Sandman used our newssubmit to tell us about his findings with a Ricoh recorder.
As unbelievable as it sounds, I managed to burn 2 Safedisc 2 protected CD's. |

I used the Ricoh 7125a CD-Rewriter & CloneCD 2.8.5.2
The settings I used were:
Read subchannel data from data tracks
Read subchannel data from audio tracks
Fast error skip (no error correction)
Don't repair subchannel data
Burnproof/Justlink
Always close last session.
Both CD's work perfectly in the CD writer. I'm going to be testing them in other CD Readers and I'll keep everybody informed!
Well it's not that unbelievable to copy SD2 protections. But as you can see in our safedisc 2 compatible list in the knowhow database we only had the RICOH 7083a and RICOH 9120a listed. I've added the 7125a as well. So let's give it a try and let us know if the discs are readable in other drives too. Also I'm not sure about the MP-7060A... does anybody know that?
