Samsung Bigfoot in development for T-Mobile

T-Mobile recently announced its continued support for the Google Android operating system custom designed for mobile phones and similar devices.  It's possible the next T-Mobile Android-based phone will be released by Samsung, though all three companies haven't publicly commented on its development.

The Samsung Bigfoot 3G smartphone is a device that has continually flown under the radar, even though it finally made its way into a T-Mobile roadmap earlier in the year.

The Bigfoot reportedly has a 3" AMOLED touch screen, full QWERTY keyboard, 3-megapixel camera, built-in GPS and Wi-Fi.  Full details should be released by Samsung soon, even though it's unknown when the phone will be finally released.

Hopefully the phone will be available in other colors than green, with the puke green in the above picture startling me when I first saw it.

I understand that T-Mobile has had its troubles over the years competing with Verizon Wireless and AT&T, but I think offering so many Android-based phones could help them attract new subscribers.  The more Android devices released the more consumers become familiar with the OS and its pros and cons.

The company has already sold more than 1 million G1 Android smartphones, with user reviews showing promise for future editions of the phone.
