Sony unveils the DRU-710A 16x DVD writer

The user manual for Sony's new 16x DVD writer, the DRU-710A, is now available for download and it also reveals the detailed specifications of the new drive. Unlike the recently announced 16x burners from for example BenQ and NEC it's however only DVD+R which the DRU-710A supports at 16x speed (CAV). DVD-R is limited to 8x max speed (ZCLV).
