At TechTree.com they've posted a study commissioned by NDS, a manufacturer of DVRs and other electronics. Of course the DVR manufacturer looked and researched to find something extremely positive about digital video recording...
Seventy-nine percent of 1,000 DVR owners stated that their relationships improved since they own a DVR. The poll was done in the United States and the outcome is simple: DVR usage improves (read: saves) marriages.
Of course it isn't hard to understand why DVR usage helps a lot. DVRs allow you to save a match while watching your partner's romantic classic, or even better, it allows you to watch football while your wife watches her movie later. This way everyone is happy, right?
