Message Labs has detected a mutation of the Melissa virus which can lurk in Microsoft's Mac edition of Office 2001 undetected by many desktop anti-virus scanners. This new strain enters the recipient's email box displaying the title 'Important Message From' and contains an attachment usually called Anniv.doc. If this attachment is opened, it mass mails itself using the recipients address book.
