Nohair used our newssubmit to tell us that WinMX has done some serious updating. The new version 2.1 seems to be pretty good. Resuming like you've never seen before. If your download fails WinMX can search identical files at multiple servers. Lots of other improvements. Kiss Napster goodbye and switch to WinMX. Because you can use WinMX for Napster servers and Napster-protocol servers it's a really good alternative!
It's also possible to download movies and pictures and so on... I really like it

This new version will correct many issues. We've also added some new features, including exiting when all transfers finish, shutting down the computer when all transfers finish, local download queuing on a per-user AND over-all basis, all windows automatically save position by default, and simultaneous max server connection attempts total and per second, which makes for smoother server connections |
